Hawzah News Agency (Najaf, Iraq)- Senior Iraqi cleric Grand Ayatollah Bashir al-Najafi received groups of Shia Muslims from India and Pakistan in his office in the city of Najaf, Iraq on Wednesday.

During the meeting, the Shia scholar urged Shia Muslims to follow on the path of Ahlulbayt (as) and adhere to their moral guidelines in order to live happy lives in this world as well as the afterlife.

Media activities must develop to promote genuine Islamic teachings

The Iraqi source of emulation also received Sayyed Entesar, the executive of a Pakistani satellite channel on Islam. During their meeting, the senior cleric asserted, “Today, the world is progressing in so many different areas including the media and communications.”

“Therefore, it’s best to introduce the whole world to the true face of Islam and genuine Islamic teachings. We must make serious effort in order to fight the western Media’s anti-Islamic propaganda and show the world the realities of Islam which is promoting kindness, peace and love all around the world.” Grand Ayatollah al-Najafi concluded.
